Rare update! I always forget about this place olol
Manchester expo was this weekend, and i had a blast as usual. I debuted a new costume - Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2 - as a surprise for and it was awesome. We had a little group going with her as Jill Valentine, and as Chris Redfield. Photos to come soon by the talented where we did photos in a dingy car park which is so Resi it hurts.

Life updates, I actually got good final marks in Games Development - DMM I think. Not that it mattered that much since I ALREADY GOT AN UNCONDITIONAL OFFER FOR UNI.
I am officially starting a Games Art degee in September, which is located in Liverpool. i am so happy about this because I get to see my cosplay friends way more often. and due to the workload i will hopefully have a lot more to submit here art-wise! so it's win-win.

Our () annual August meetup is just around the corner too, and i am finally going to finish Rei Ayanami's plugsuit. i can hear your eyes rolling from here because i have said this SO MANY TIMES but THIS TIME FOR SURE GUYS I SWEAR. I have this amazing, super strong vinyl CEMENT that I am using and it's seriously great. I've used this to glue the leg parts (which i finished today) because it would have been so difficult to sew. this glue is so strong i have to have the window open, and on the can it says it can cause birth defects. DAFUQ. anyway i've just made a little checklist for things to do on Rei - it's 5 things. obviously it's more than it seems and will take time but i have no college now and a lot of free time so i'm confident i can finish it.

is going to photograph my plugsuit on the lovely pier we found that looks like it was pulled straight out of Eva. this is basically my dream come true haha. this is more motivation to finish this in time! Manchester expo also gave me huge inspiration as I saw a girl in a plugsuit and i was all "naaaaaaw, i want my plugsuuuuuuit" like a whiny child. Oh, I've also finished Rei's alternate reality costume from episode 26 if i remember correctly. it's just a small little thing but I'm taking it with me haha. ALSO, we're going to be travelling to these AWESOME sand dunes, where many of us are taking costumes to to photograph. I'll be taking Daenerys as it's just perfect really.
